1. Our Respect for Copyright

FrogButt.fun (https://frogbutt.fun) respects the rights of artists, photographers, writers and creators. We follow the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), a US law that explains how copyright owners can ask websites to remove content that copies their work. You can read the law on the U.S. Copyright Office website.

If you believe something on our website uses your work without permission, please follow the steps on this page.

2. Content on FrogButt.fun

Our website shares fun facts, guides and memes about frogs and toads. Some images, memes or videos may come from other creators or public sources. We do not claim ownership of content that belongs to others.

If we used your content by mistake, or without the credit you want, tell us. We will review your request quickly and fairly.

3. How to Send a DMCA Takedown Notice

To report copyright infringement, please visit the Contact page on our website and send us a message that includes all of these points:

  1. Your full name, address, phone number and email address.
  2. A clear description of your copyrighted work that you say was copied.
  3. The exact page link (URL) on FrogButt.fun where the copied content appears.
  4. A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not allowed by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
  5. A statement that the information in your notice is correct, and that you are the copyright owner or are allowed to act for the owner, under penalty of perjury.
  6. Your physical or electronic signature.

Notices without these details may be delayed or rejected.

4. What We Do After a Notice

When we get a complete notice, we will review it and, if it is valid, remove or block the content as soon as we reasonably can. We may tell the person who posted the content about the notice.

We may share your notice, including your contact details, with the person who posted the content.

5. Counter-Notice

If your content was removed and you think it was a mistake, you may send us a counter-notice through the Contact page. Please include:

  1. Your full name, address, phone number and email address.
  2. The content that was removed and where it appeared before removal.
  3. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you believe in good faith that the content was removed by mistake or by wrong identification.
  4. A statement that you agree to the courts that apply to your location, and that you accept legal notices from the person who sent the original notice.
  5. Your physical or electronic signature.

If the original sender does not file a court case within a reasonable time, we may put the content back.

6. Repeat Infringers and False Claims

We may block users who copy other people’s work again and again.

Please be careful before you send a notice. Under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, a person who knowingly makes a false claim may be responsible for damages, including costs and legal fees. If you are not sure whether something is copyright infringement, please talk to a lawyer first.
